Another fortnight has passed and as ever, there’s plenty to read about in our world.
While Manchester United’s number 10 has been leading the way in the fight against child poverty, those at number 10 Downing Street have had a lot of explaining to do. Meanwhile, the Adenuga family were given some well-deserved praise in The Guardian, who also ran an in-depth feature on Croydon drill artist, SL.
Eastbourne offers free school meals
There were a lot of eyes on Eastbourne recently after Conservative MP Caroline Ansell quit her post due to disagreeing with the government’s reluctance to offer free school meals throughout half-term.
The town itself seems to have rallied round, though, with the likes of Eastbourne AFC and The Art House playing their part in an initiative across the area.

Drill music is a genre that is often on the receiving end of criticism due to its lyrical content and imagery in music videos. It was welcome news, then, to see one of the stars of the movement, SL, being given some airtime in one of the biggest newspapers in the country.
